I am not writing much about Nandi hills, as it is already covered in my old travelogue.

          Nandi hills has been first trip for many riders including me and today, it's time for my friend Sathish. Sathish got his new Thunderbird recently, so we decided to go for a small and best ride. We have decided to go early morning and come back by afternoon to avoid the summer heat. We both started at 4 AM and met at Marathahalli. Early morning weather is so cool and thoroughly enjoyed it on @70 speed. Decided to halt for 5 mins at Devanahalli turn at 5:30AM and reached hill top by 6:15 AM; by the time long Q at ticket counter. In Summer time, it is impossible to see the sunrise after 6 AM, so we did not expect much. Enjoyed the nature greatly by walking through the ruins of Sultans era. Finished breakfast at 8 AM and then had some photo session at different spots. Decided to left at 9 AM and reached Nandi village to visit Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple.

       Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is built in 9th century and still looking great as recently built.  Temple, kalynamantapa and pond are 3 sections built on large area. After visiting the temple, decided to go to Muddenahalli which is 3 KM distance from temple. Muddenahalli is Sir.M.Visweswaraih's birth place, his house is now turned into a Museum, where we can see his Awards and things used by him. We can see his Samadhi and park. We have reached Museum by 10 AM, but Museum time is 11 AM - 5 PM, so we left with disappointment. From Muddenahalli, we can reach NH7 directly instead of going back to Nandi hill base. Time is 10 AM only, but already SUN showing his power on us. Took 2 breaks and reached home safely by 12 PM and got saved from the horrible Afternoon heat.
