Friends: Pankaj, Anshu, Mohan, Kulbir, Sandeep & Me
Places to Visit: 
This is our first long trip from office batch. Pankaj and Anshu Started together at 4 AM, picking up everyone on the way and left city by 5 AM. Pankaj only knows the car driving and did his job very well. There is a great advantage going by Car is, we can chit-chat, fight, boose and sleep well.
Early morning there was no traffic on Mysore road and reached Mysore by around 7:30 AM. Took few mins halt nearby palace entrance and had small photo session. Resumed drive after 15 mins and next stop near Bandipur entrance. Thoroughly enjoying the forest monsoon thick greenery, but we have not seen any wild animals other than few deer and few local elephants.
Once we reach Nilgiri mountains, the scenery is picturesque. For the First time viewers, it is really breath taking view. those steps of mountains with lush greenery. At one place, the steep of hill is too high that many cars not able ascend if we apply breaks in middle, need to go back little bit and ascend with full throttle. Our Car also not able to move in the middle of steep stretch. We thought some car heat issue.. We waited for nearly 1 Hr there and finally towing truck came and pulled it with help of Skoda free service as our car is brand new. Car is fine no issues but it was not able to pull the 6 people and also we should drive only in 1st gear it seems. after reaching the top of the hill, we have not faced any issues with car.
We reached ooty after 12 AM around and able to find budget hotel with locals help. Hotel Sivashanthi Grand, opp to Rohini Theater. It was 700/- per room I guess in 2013. We booked 2 rooms for 6 of us and got ready in 1 Hr, water was dead cold. Hot water available at morning and night particular time only. we did't have the breakfast also, so we rushed to the nearest Hotel for Brunch. Finished Brunch, now we are ready to mesmerize by the Nilgiri's beauty. These two days we covered all the main locations. Shooting spot is best of all in Ooti. It is really a heaven, in winter season it will be speechless.
